Mrs Alicia Yeo is a graduate with a Bachelor in Business(Banking)(Honours) in NTU and holds a Post-Grad Diploma in Education(NTU/NIE). Her repertoire of experiences include having taught in a primary school for 7 years, where she served as the Head of Mathematics. Kip McGrath Tuition Centre Kovan develops and delivers programs that align with the Ministry of Education’s learning outcomes, and emphasis is placed on building the foundation for confident mastery of the English language. The programmes cater to students in all levels of learning abilities through an engaging manner to nurture confidence.
Primary 1 to 6 students will learn all components of English assessment except listening comprehension. They will be taught key strategies to overcome comprehension questions and use a systematic approach to break down and apply creative techniques to write simply and clearly, but in a captivating manner.

MATH TUITION CLASSES IN KOVAN
Our Maths tuition programs for students are designed with an aim to have a strong grounding for Mathematics to better prepare them for higher level questions. In order, to maximise each students' potential, we provide a curriculum that is individualised to support every learner at every stage. Mathematics underpins many aspects of our every-day activities and we strive to use these connections to provide a practical approach to enable students in understanding the subject.
PRIMARY MATH TUITION IN KOVAN
For Primary 1 to Primary 4 students, we aim to develop a deep understanding and build the foundation for core concepts such as fractions, decimals, problem solving sums, heuristic sums and model drawing. All of these are delivered through a quality curriculum that includes diagnosing areas of strengths and weaknesses, proper explanation and assessing the students’ understanding through continuous assessments, such as review questions and tests. This is to ensure students achieve a level of mastery that will serve them well when pursuing Mathematics at higher levels.
Primary 5 and 6 syllabus continues the development of the Primary 1 to 4 syllabus with additional concepts introduced. This stage of teaching focuses on preparing for PSLE . The central focus is Mathematical problem solving that at times comprise of multiple Maths concepts. We teach various techniques and heuristic concepts to enable students to spot and make sense of various Mathematical ideas as well as their connections and applications.
SECONDARY MATH TUITION IN KOVAN
The Maths programs for Secondary 1 to 5 students aim to prepare students for their GCSE 'N' and 'O' level exams. We provide personal coaching and tutorials to develop a deep understanding and build the foundation for core concepts, such as arithmetics, number forms, integers, algebra and functions.
